Automated Palletizing Line for Fiber Cement Shingles

For Swisspearl, we designed and implemented an automated end-of-line workstation for handling, inspection, and stacking of fiber cement boards.

The project addressed the replacement of manual handling of heavy and fragile material, where precise placement, quality control, and continuous, downtime-free production had to be ensured.

By automating handling, sorting, and stacking, we eliminated operator dependency and ensured a stable, repeatable process in which only compliant products are included in the final pallet.

The line automatically controls material flow from the input pallet through dosing into the trimming process to final palletizing. Robotic handling of stacks, camera-based quality inspection, and sorting logic ensure smooth operation without operator intervention.
