Parts assembly for e-mobility

The line consists of several stations where crimping, application of the bonding compound and nailing of aluminium parts takes place. Within the line we have integrated a welding laser from a German supplier of production technology.

The assembly of the parts requires high precision and correct relative positioning, so multiple centering positions are used in several stages of the process, which are controlled and measured by a camera system.

What is nailing?

Nailing is the process of joining materials without the use of additional elements such as screws, rivets or welds. In nailing, materials are joined by pressure and forming, creating strong and durable joints. This process is often used to join sheet metal or other materials in industrial manufacturing, especially in the automotive industry.
